Dr. Loo Yap - CEO
Dr. Yap is an expert in the medical device and biotechnology industry. Prior to co-founding Aseare Health, he was the principal of a technology-incubation and consulting firm. He holds over 17 globally commercialized patents used by major multinational corporations in fields ranging from medical gases to petrochemical industries, and manufacturing. Dr. Yap’s work has been widely published in peer-reviewed scientific literature and has lectured extensively throughout the world. He is the recipient of several awards, including the prestigious R&D100 award. Dr. Yap has participated and led various joint research efforts funded by Dept. of Energy, Dept. of Transportation, NASA, Mobil, Shell, the European Community, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and various Industrial companies. He has supervised numerous B.Sc., Ph.D. candidates, and Postdoctoral fellows and has directed Industrial and Academic laboratories in the USA and Europe. Dr. Yap is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Leeds in the UK. He has served on several Industrial and Academic advisory boards and peer-reviews scientific manuscripts. He is fluent in English, Dutch, and German. Dr. Yap is a recipient of a M.Sc. (summa cum laude) of Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, as well as an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
Martin Krauss - COO
Mr. Krauss is an expert in all aspects of medical product manufacturing and packaging. He is also currently partnering with a US-based International medical-device company to engineer and build a proprietary manufacturing plant. He is the founder of a US-based ISO-compliant medical-device manufacturing and pharmaceutical-packaging company with R&D and prototyping facilities and is a principal of a medical-device engineering company. He has manufactured for major multi-national pharmaceutical and medical-device distributors working with partners such as the CDC (Center for Disease Control), NIH (National Institute of Health), the “Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation”, and the US Armed Services. For nearly a decade, Mr. Krauss was Head of R&D and Production for Klocke America. Having held various senior technical positions in medical device and pharmaceutical packaging companies, Mr. Krauss has garnered a unique and intimate knowledge of all aspects of technology, regulatory issues (FDA, GMP, Dekra, etc.), for starting (equipment procurement, personnel training, site preparation, etc.) and running (production, quality assurance, ISO certification, FDA certification, staffing, etc.) pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Mr. Krauss holds 7 International and US patents. He received an Engineering Degree from FHTE in Germany. He is fluent in English and German.
Michael Morgan - Head of Corporate and Investor Relations
Mr. Morgan is an accomplished strategic consultant and former diplomat. He served as Government Relation Coordinator in Washington for the Mobil Corporation from 1987-95, and directed the corporation's leading global cultural sponsorship. He was a senior diplomat from 1980-87, acting as Deputy Staff Director (1985-87) of the bipartisan White House commission overseeing the Voice of America, the Fulbright Scholarships and the U.S. Information Agency. He has accompanied delegations in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Cuba. Mr. Morgan was awarded the Meritorious Honor Award by US Secretary of State George Shultz in 1984 for his work in communications. Mr. Morgan speaks fluent English and Spanish, has studied German and Norwegian, and has lived or worked on projects in more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. He was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with High Distinction in 1973. He is an Award-winning author, global speaker, and has advised on international ventures in oil & gas, renewable energy, medical technology, aerospace and media.
Bernard Onyenze - Chief Pharmacist
Mr. Onyenze is an accomplished pharmacist with more than 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Africa and abroad. He is currently the Managing Director for Lagos, Nigeria based East Atlantic Pharmaceuticals (EAP) where he is responsible for corporate strategy and implementation. Prior to joining EAP, Mr. Onyenze oversaw the successful introduction of several international brands into Nigeria, including Risperdal, Sporanox, Pariet and Topamax for Janssen-Cilag Nigeria. He was responsible for all phases of the drugs’ rollout from clinical trials to product launch. Mr. Onyenze held the position of Country Manager (Nigeria) for the pharmaceutical giant Janssen-Cilag before joining Rite Aid - USA. Mr. Onyenze has had the distinction of serving as the Financial Secretary of the Nigerian Association of Industrial Pharmacists as well as helping to develop and introduce Ethic Reforms in Pharmaceutical Marketing under the auspices of the Nigerian Representatives of Overseas Pharmaceutical Companies (NIROPHARM) in Nigeria. Many of the Clinical Trials he monitored have been published in Nigerian medical journals. He is a registered pharmacist in Nigeria and in the state of Kentucky, USA. Mr. Onyenze received a B. Pharm (Honors) from the University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University), Ife, Nigeria and an MBA from the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
